Elmer's (coeur D'alene, Id)

I enjoyed my breakfast here for two days directly with my husband. My first time and my only regret do not know that this place is earlier. I absolutely loved chicken steak and eggs. Everything was perfectly cooked and the whole taste was proportional. I can't wait to come back here next time! Its extremely good and the servers that helped us were very friendly and hospitable. I forgot their names, but they really did a good job.

Even though it was a busy Sunday morning, we were seated right away, and had wonderful service from our waiter. The food was excellent; I had the triple berry french toast, and my significant other had the Ranch Breakfast. All in all, definitely would come back next time we’re in CDA!

The food is always top notch here and the service is normally above par. It wasn't terrible on our last visit but our server seemed to be distracted and disappeared more than once. We were there mid afternoon on a Friday and perhaps she was preoccupied with finishing side work for the end of her shift or preparing for the dinner crowd to come as it was not at all busy. Excellent corned beef. I highly recommend the Reuben sandwich.

Elmer's is a humble little spot. Some might even say a bit generic. They are also very consistent, always friendly, well priced and the portions are great. The food is exactly what you're thinking it is when you order and we always enjoy our dining there.

The trip was just what we needed. The chicken fried steak with eggs was nice and crispy and had a nice sausage sword. The Dutch baby pancake with fruit was huge with a great taste. Finally, the flat iron steak and eggs were perfectly cooked and had a great season on it. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch or even dinner all day.
