A good spot to find some healthier options, but lacks ambiance for prolonged stays.
Freshii at Mountain Ridge has a modern and sleek aesthetic.
Good food. Friendly staff. Clean place. It was our first visit to any Freshi. No problems to mention. The wraps were large and well made.
I discovered this place a couple of weeks ago and have been 3-4 times. People want a healthier option nowadays, and Freshii could really knock this one out of the park. However, there are a few things that got my attention, and will actually keep me from eating here anymore. On my first visit, one of the young, male employees came out of the kitchen, took my order, handled my cash and the register, went back into the kitchen area...all while wearing the same pair of gloves, I noticed. Next thing I knew, he was making my salad and had not yet changed his gloves. They were stained orange like he'd been wearing them all day! What's worse, is he was grabbing all the ingredients for my bowl with his hands, so he touched everything I was to eat. I was disgusted, but didn't want to make a scene, which is not like me. It spoiled my appetite though. A few days later, I thought I'd try again, this time determined to say something if I encountered the glove issue again. No, this time I was served by an unimpressed middle aged fellow...not friendly at all. Ok, so I went one more time. This time, there was spilled food all around the containers that they just don't bother to clean up. The whole serving area was spills and mess. This is unexcuseable and unappetizing. I'm tempted to report the glove incidence and the sloppiness to the health inspector. Needless to say, 3 strikes and you're out for me. It's a shame, because I prefer this healthier option, but they're dropping the ball in too many ways that matter to me.
