El Faisan - Coba

Great food right outside the ruins entrance/exit. Great for a snack after walking the ruins. Party of two cost about 240 mxn. They accept credit card or cash and have free WiFi. Mexican coke in the glass bottle if that’s your thing.

Excelente cochinita con sabor casero. Probé 3 diferentes en una semana y esta fue la mejor.

We has just visited coba and we tired, sweaty and very hungry!!We walked to one side of the car park and maybe it was too early (11:30am) and they weren't interested in receiving us).We walked to the side of el faisan and we asked a couple of quick questions about the menu (my friend had some food allergies and I am a vegetarian) and they we're happy to accommodate. We sat down, the lemon agua are really nice. We ordered papadzules (sp?) Which we're really filling. The service was good, attentive and polite. Foofld was fresh and we were absolutely stuffed afterwards.The prices we're really good too.

If you are at or near the Coba ruins, go to eat at El Faisan! Delicious food, great service and prices, clean place, free WiFi. Authentic Mayan food. The Cochinita, which is pulled pork is SOOO good with an ice cold glass bottle come! Highly recommend.
