Lou's Diner - Cloverdale

I've been a bartender for 5 years, and I only wish that we could provide the service we received here..... I brought my kids to have dinner, traveling back to Nebraska, we got drinks, my one kid got a kids meal, other kid got the daily special, and I got the half spaghetti.... our bill was only $23.... I spend more than that at any fast food I go to. The food was absolutely delicious... AND SO AFFORDABLE! Which makes it better because I could tip the server more! Who was also amazing. Everyone was so friendly.. clean areas and bathrooms.... I wish we had something like this closer to where we live! Keep up the great work!

Great food! Fast, friendly service and fantastic pie! Dad had the breaded Tenderloin and rated it the best he’d ever had! I had fried pickles: delicious! and the beef Manhattan with all that scrumptious gravy. We both had to take half home in a to go box, the portions are more than generous. And then the pie! Dad got his favorite Coconut Cream and loved it… I was hoping to try the peanut butter but they were out already… but I did get the last piece of Sugar Cream Pie and couldn’t have been happier! We will definitely be back !

Great spot and such friendly people!!! My daughter and I basically shared 3 different breakfast plates a day had TONS leftover for later. My coffee was filled several times (which is my love language) so 10/10 highly recommend!!

This is where we go when we want incredible piles of fried pickles and wonderful burgers in a small town, one of a kind, home grown sort of restaurant you won't see anywhere else. This place is always clean, warm, welcoming and so full of individual personality. We live about fifteen miles away but the trip is always worth it. If you are here, please try the fried pickles with ranch, I highly recommend them. Thank you for keeping little private owned, small town restaurants like this going, and we'll keep coming back. You guys are amazing.
