Kochi By The Lake - Clover

The restaurant is overpriced for the quality of food and service. We were served cold carrots, and the floors inside were sticky. The staff did not seem to be well-trained. The woman who took our call had to pause for assistance multiple times and was unsure about the contents of the combo meals.

I can't eat inside the restaurant, and they don't take phone orders either. Their closing time is pretty early, around 8 PM, even on weekends. When I tried to call, I was told they aren't taking phone orders. Unfortunately, my husband enjoys the food. I'm not a fan!

I will never dine here again. I used to go at least once a week until I ordered a chocolate cake. When I got home and took the cake out of the bag, I found the entire cake was drenched and had a reddish tint. I couldn’t return it since they were closed. Regardless of what it was, it looked absolutely disgusting.

I was skeptical on the basis of previous reviews, but I gave him a shot and I'm so glad I did it! I placed my order in the drive at 8:00. Customer service was excellent and the staff was so friendly. I waited less than 7min to collect my order. My food was hot fresh and absolutely worth the visit. I ordered the chicken and shrimp plate and compared to other hibachi take sites, I received a lot more protein. This will be my booklet Hibachi Takeout Restaurant.

Very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. It is fast food Japanese, but a good value for what you get! My husband and I both got hibachi plates (him chicken and shrimp, me shrimp). Actual shrimp, not baby shrimp. I also got sushi. Enjoyed it so much I bought more on the way out for lunch the next day. Fast and friendly service! A little weird that they give you cash to leave for your tip if you charge it, but not a deal breaker.
