Gordy's Hi-hat - Cloquet

Everything was good especially the burgers. Onion rings weren't our favorite. Pretty good place just not sure what all the hoopla is about.

Seems like a pretty chill place to eat and when I delivered food to them place was completely packed! And the owner was awesome!

The service is friendly and speedy. The atmosphere has a typical diner feel, though the building could use a little love and cosmetic updates. That said, they have an entire area outside that's new to me, where you can eat under cover in case of inclement weather, there's an entire separate building for bathrooms, and they really do seem to love the patrons who visit. My food was okay, I had a chicken burger and it didn't taste much like anything, no seasoning, but it was hot and tasted fresh. The fries won us over for sure, they were fresh, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside I'd go back for the fries alone. Last time I went, I had a beef burger, I remember it having a bit more flavour, but that was a while ago. No matter what, whenever I come back to Minnesota, I will visit Gordy's Hi Hat again and again.

A staple on the range! If you are in town you have to stop by Gordy's! The fries are delicious.
