Ray's Time Out - Clinton

A super sports atmosphere!Could be better lit, it was very dark.Food was good and server was very friendly.

$3.50 burger basket how can you go wrong?? Was delicious too.

I really wanted to like this place upon walking in. The walls are filled with sports memorabilia and a trophy case of football helmets; it's actually pretty awesome. Unfortunately, the food just wasn't that great. We started with an appetizer sampler platter, it's your typical sampler that offers half orders for whatever you want with the exception of the giant pretzel. We went with mini corn dogs, mozzarella sticks, and fried pickles. The mini corn dogs were slightly overcooked, which is fine because I like the crunch, but they were just bland. The mozzarella sticks were good. The fried pickles were such a big disappointment. The batter tasted great, they were even a little spicy, but in my opinion they were undercooked and mushy.I went with the double fried wings from a recommendation I received. The wings had decent flavor and the double fry process makes them extra crispy, but they were tiny. I also wish they sauced them after the fact, I didn't realize they were naked wings and you chose sauces to dip them in. The fries that came with the meal were actually really good, that was probably my favorite part.Overall, for the price, it's just not worth it. The inside atmosphere is worth checking out if it's your first time, because it is actually is really cool to see, but the food is lacking. I most likely will not be back.

I lived in Clinton for a period of time and my favorite spot to come for (bone in) Buffalo wings was here. Some of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is sort of gives off the if they don't know you your an outsider sort of vibe. I found that to be the consensus of most of the local pubs. Country is the default music of choice there so be ready for that as well. All in all it's a nice place, it helps to to know what to expect before you walk in.

Went to celebrate my grandsons 21st birthday and they had karaoke that night... the atmosphere was great and fun.
