Cracker Barrel - Clinton

We really enjoy it here. The service is always excellent, and it's surprisingly good for a chain restaurant.

My best advice is to stick with breakfast. Proceed at your own risk for anything beyond that...

I visited Cracker Barrel because it was conveniently located next to the Hampton Inn in Clinton, NJ. I ordered the roast beef with potatoes. The portion size was decent, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the meal. The vegetable soup tasted like Campbell's, but not quite as good. On a positive note, our waiter was fantastic, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful!

We stopped at the cracker barrel in Clinton, NJ for dinner on the way home in PA. It was great! The waiting period was minimal and everything was organized. I am in wheelchair and usually Loathe baths because they are not disabled friendly. Barrier-free does not mean the same as friendly. He threw me away! It was more than big enough to fit my chair and maneuver easily. It had a sink, soap dispenser and paper towel dispenser in the stable!!! Excellent! Not only that the baby change station was NOT in the stable! That's so big for me. I can't tell you how often I had to wait for the only disabled stable in the bathroom. Anyway, I loved it. Our server Bennett was a 5 star, although his apron said 2 stars. He was great! I've been waiting tables for years and was a head server. I would have hired him in a heartbeat!! Just the best. The food was so good and very inexpensive. We had remains and Bennett even offered us dessert and drinks to go! We brought him to the drink. My son is stunned and I'm sure we're back when we get back. Very recommended!

This place is awesome. The gift shop was decorated for Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas which made it super cozy. And then the food ...out of this world amazing! Comfort food! And The portions are Great for the price. I wish I didn't live so far from here, because I'd come here at least once a week!
