Chevys Fresh Mex - Clifton

Absolutely 10/5 stars! The bartender, Peter, was incredibly kind and went out of his way to create a dish that wasn't on the menu—Carne Asada Fries—and it was delicious! His customer service and friendliness were exceptional. Thank you so much for the outstanding experience!

The flautas were excellent, but the rest of the dishes were just mediocre. The shrimp quesadilla and chimichanga didn't have much flavor. Overall, the service was satisfactory. There are definitely better options for Mexican cuisine out there.

I visited this restaurant for dinner, and it's one of the few places that stays open quite late. I placed my order, and the food arrived on time. However, there is definitely room for improvement in their service. When the food was served, they forgot to provide any forks or spoons for us to eat with. We ended up waiting around 4-5 minutes for the utensils, and by the time we could start eating, the food was already cold. I don’t think they are understaffed, but I felt it was important to share this feedback. I hope they take this into account and work on enhancing their service in the future.

I went with my kids and sister and her daughter we all loved the food, but wait time was not preferred especially because we had so many kids , TABLES felt disgusting I thought they were dirty but the waiter came and cleaned and she explained that's their biggest complaint but because of alcohol the wax of table is coming off making tables feels sticky ! Even more gross how come they do not change them and protect them with plastic cover over ?! Or change them it's gross to eat at and any other day I'd walked out but I had promised my kids I'd take them there ! Food and staff were great but tables have to go because they gross you out!
