Toast - Cleveland

We went on a Thursday night for Date Night and had a great time. The staff was friendly. They were extremely knowledgeable about the wine and food pairs. the staff was generous with recommendations to try for us. The rabbit sliders were amazing (smokey BBQ) and it is worth going back. The wings were a unique joy and perfectly cooked. The type of sauce was very different, then we had in the past (spoiler alarm, they use fish sauce). The Brisketburger was juicy and full of taste. They'll share us when we share the court. The experience was exceptional and the wine list was small, easy to navigate with new wines to try for us. We are happy to recommend a fun appointment or drinks after work.

Outstanding service and food at this picturesque little place in the Shoreway district. Really enjoyed the brunch menu and solid coffee. Unique scratches made cookies and sausages. Will go back to dinner soon!

My husband and I have been here a couple of times before. Once for Valentine's Day dinner which was fabulous and another time for brunch with friends from out of town. We decided to take our mothers to a very belated Mother's Day brunch at this little eatery that has so many wonderfully local sourced products. We sat outside under the giant tree that provided shade for all the outdoor tables. The server was polite attentive, and very sweet. Our food arrived very timely, cocktails and coffee were great. We were happy to tip well for the wonderful service and food. I would highly recommend that you take the opportunity to go here whenever you can!

Toast is my favorite restaurant of all time! The bar is stocked with only the best, top shelf brands of liquor from apperitif like Campari to digestif like Fernet Branca; a great selection of Bourbon and Scotch; and careful selections of wines and beers. On to the food! The menu seems to change with the season and what is available so there's always something new and interesting to eat. The charcuterie and cheese boards are always delicious with selections of house made dried meats, patte, hard cheese, mild cheese, house made jams. Unlike every other restaurant that claims to have a charcuterie board and let's you guess what you're eating, the waitresses at Toast give an explanation of everything on the board. Do yourself a favor and get an order of the house pickled vegetables to go with the charcuterie. The menu has other appetizers and small plates. The grilled radicchio is a great choice. For main course I had ravioli with Speck, capers, and sweet breads. Outstanding! But you can never go wrong with the hangar steak or the brisket burger, the only two mainstays on the menu. You can have all of this deliciousness in a casual, relaxed setting, with great music, and impeccable service.
