Diana Baker's Diner - Cleveland

I called to inquire if they sold cakes, but they didn't have what I was looking for. Shortly after, they called me back saying, "Your food is ready." I explained that I hadn't ordered any food and assumed they had mixed up the numbers. The employee was extremely rude, even calling me a derogatory term, and then they blocked me.

I just left the restaurant, where I ordered a corned beef sandwich. To start with, it was the tiniest $9 sandwich I've ever seen in Cleveland. The Swiss cheese used was cheap and processed. After just one bite, I ended up giving it to my dog because that overpriced small sandwich wasn't even good! It's clear they don't care about their customers; they only seem interested in making money. Anyone serious about hospitality would take pride in what they serve! Additionally, the restaurant was dirty, which I should have noticed beforehand. Honestly, I would have been better off going to a gas station for a higher quality sandwich.

This is a genuine hole-in-the-wall gem. There's seating for about 10 people inside, but only if they're all friendly! Parking on the street was limited. I enjoyed my breakfast, but the place still feels like it's in pandemic mode, with plexiglass everywhere. Come on, let's loosen things up a bit for small businesses in Ohio!
