Wave Nightclub At Shephard's

All I can say is disgusting!!!! Staff was incredibly unfriendly, uneducated, and didn’t seem to have a clue what they were doing. If you plan on staying for a while, do yourself a favor and bring baggies for your shoes, since the floor is prone to flooding and the employees have no problem kicking everyone out. I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever been to a more ratchet club... at least frat basements have less standing water.

For the reviews and experience it seems to be their policy to throw out kids under 21. My 18 year old daughter and her friends paid the cover, surrendered their licenses and a half hour later while dancing they were told to leave or the police would be called. My theory is that they get their cover charge but since they can’t buy alcohol force them to leave. I called the manger Jason who said I couldn’t prove the girls didn’t do something wrong or that the bouncer (Dylon) grabbed their arms to rip off their bands and then threatened to call the police. He was so cocky and arrogant which was the second mistake he made. I wonder how many kids they have they done this too? How many people don’t speak up or do anything about it?

Wearing sunglasses in this place feels like a crime; you might as well expect the SWAT team to come for you! The bouncers were not only unfriendly but also a bit unpleasant. If you dare to lift your feet even slightly off the dance floor, you can expect to be escorted out in handcuffs. Sorry for trying to have a good time!

This place is overrated, and filled with a bunch of old dudes that grab up on girls. The security does not watch what’s going on inside the club, rather was trying to come into the club that they pay. I was going to order a bottle to get VIP, and then was told that there is a VIP charge on top of bottle service. I have never heard of this in my life before. I was then told if I can get a cabana or lounge section, we could do whatever we wanted. There was clearly no food on the menu. Only bottles. I went back and order a drink from the bar, and saw a bartender spit in the wet bar area. Disgusting. I then went To pick up a pizza delivery, and a security guard by the name of Mike was quite aggressive and assertive towards me. He questioned me as if I was delirious, if I had even read the menu. Yes Mike I actually have, and it’s only bottles available. I was told if I got a cabana we could do whatever we wanted as it is outside the venue. Mike continued to try to start an argument. When I then told Mike, that I was given mixed communication on several occasions did he realize that there was nothing to discuss. But I told him that somebody spit in the wet bar, he realize that there was nothing to argue. Never again will I return to this establishment. It’s sad that it is spring break, and that they tried to pick arguments with people who are trying to help their operation run smoothly. I then called to speak with management, to let them know about the poor behavior from Mike. I could not get a manager on the phone. I can only imagine if they actually had to respond to an emergency how it would be handled.

I have came here alot over the past 10 years. This year the staff talks down to you like your trash. Mostly the blonde that works the main bar very rude full of her self and disrespectful. Sad she brags she runs this place
