They also have grab-and-go meals along with ready-to-cook meals and sides from the restaurant. They have cake, cookies, pastries, ice cream, and coffee to name a few. You can also sample and purchase local wines. This place is family owned and you can feel that from the time you walk in the door to the time you walk out.
Based on positive TA reviews, my husband and I stopped into Clayton Market for a quick lunch before hiking. We decided to share a Cuban sandwich which was delicious! Crunchy bread helped soak up all of the tasty pork drippings : Tender pork, melted in your mouth with every bite. Iced tea and a chocolate chip cookie were delightful additions to our meal. A short wait after ordering at the counter meant time to peruse local food products available for purchase in the market such as honey, candy, and jam. With great food and friendly service, I look forward to a return visit to CM.
Stopped her on our way back from hiking back to Atlanta. The food options were numerous, the staff extremely friendly and the food super delicious. After we popped into the market for coffee and a cookie, another delicious treat
Beautiful market with tremendous supply of baked goods, wine, gourmet treats. Ordered chicken salad at counter which delicious. Loaded with nuts, grapes and herbs. Picked up gourmet crackers, goat cheese and sat in their comfortable cafe.
We had dinner first on the Clayton Cafe side then got dessert to go on the Market side. Both were outstanding plus friendly and attentive service what can I say, we went back for a second night. Pecan Chicken with Asiago Cheese Ssuce was outstanding, Market side for dessert crazy good strawberry cake, peanut butter and raspberry jelly cake, and more. I don’t think you can go wrong!
