Famous Philly's Cheesteak - Clayton

Nice little takeout place. You can eat in at one of a few tables if you want though. Service is great and the food came out hot. I’ll definitely be back.Food: 4/5

My first time here yesterday and the food and customer service was superb! It was so good, I had to stop after work and grab my girls something! I had the Marinated Chicken on Pita and the girls had a Cheesesteak! And I’m back today getting the Chicken Cheesesteak and Teriyaki boneless wings! Everything was soooo yummy! I’ll be back again!

They are usually good but I have to give just 3 stars today. I didn't want onions on my cheesesteak and even looked at my receipt twice. It sucks because you can't tell it had onions until you get home. I'm not driving all the way back in traffic. I will be back because they give me great service and they always been nice but I'm upset. I can forgive an honest mistake. But they need to pay attention.

It appears that a few years ago this place had good food. But they have made the mistake a lot of businesses make in a recession and cut quality to try and save profits. I first tried the marinated chicken wrap, which was fine except for the lettuce that was on its last leg. Today I had their famous cheesesteak, and was greatly dissatisfied. The onions to meat ratio was nearly 50/50 and we had more of the same dying lettuce. The seasoning of the meat was excellent, too bad all you can taste is hunks of onion... while you eat it ... and hours later. Hope they improve their standards.

Great Philly Cheesesteak sandwich! Best I had in a long time! Try it and you will love it! Fellow northerns, this as close to home as you can get!!!!
