Dinky Diner - Clarksburg

Great food and very fast service! There were some people there and our food came fast and hot. Milkshakes are legit and landscape was brilliant on the river!

Shaded, dog-friendly, outside only dining, with a mix of picnic tables and stools lining a river facing counter. Order and pay at the window and wait for your name to be called. The food is average diner fare and we enjoyed the view and our cheeseburger, hot dog, and frings. The chocolate shake was tasty, but not thick and frosty. A nice little outing along the river road in Clarksburg.

The diner is, well, dinky. BUT the food is high quality. The hot dogs are 100% beef, and didn't have the metalic taste of nitrates, although I did not confirm their absence with the owner. There is all outdoor seating with lovely views of flowers and the Sacramento River. And, the owners are nice folks.

Great burgers with a lovely view. The onion rings were delicious as well. Burger had great charring on the edges, onion rings were crisp and flavorful. There is a sign in the window that says This is not fast food... , which is true, however, it is worth the wait and you honestly won 't mind waiting if you can grab a seat at the long counter overlooking the river and just watch the water go by. Great place to grab a bite after doing some tasting at the Old Sugar Mill!
