Captain Loomis Bar And Restaurant Inc.

We went to Loomis for lunch today. We thought we'd take our mother somewhere special for Mother's Day. Boy, we were wrong! The experience was terrible, from the beginning to the end. You only had a buffet. No menu, and they forget to tell me that when I made the reservation. There was nothing in the restaurant. You only found out after you sat down and got your drinks. The buffet was $18 per person and was not worth $2 per person. You spend 15 minutes waiting for the buffet, just to find out half of it was empty. And the food was TERRIBLE! It tasted everything as if it came out a box!! Our server hid all the time in the kitchen and complained how many people were in the restaurant. We had to refill our drinks and the desserts were ridiculous. Served in paper bowls!!! I complained when I went to a server that's less interested. After I left and looked at the bill, I discovered that they charged 20% free of charge on the bill!!! They forgot. 18% is standard!!! Would have been nice to know that before I left it the top on the table!!!
