フィードバックを提供するThe first visit was a winner. Very satisfied with the snack. I thought the prices in which a bit is high, but when I tasted my meal, I thought it was worth every penny. The service was efficient.
Ordered a takeaway one Friday night. It took them 1 hr 25 minutes to bring my order. After the long wait I was advised that they run out of steamed rice and that it would take another 30 minutes before it is cooked. The lady that took my order didn't apologise for the delay.
I have been here twice now in as many weeks. I love the food - simple, tasty and generous in portion size. The decor is dated and tired, the staff quiet but friendly. For me it's all about the food and I have not left there wanting or disappointed. I read other reviews that state it is not really thai food. Don't care. I will keep going back.
The staff was reasonably helpful and engaging and all ... but really the food was pretty badly prepared. Given Australia's love affair with Thai food, I'd kinda expected a little more from the Thai signature dishes ... but that failed pretty poorly.Green Curry chicken was loaded up with cream ... while there was a hint of coconut, it felt more like conventional cream. Odd since I would not expect coconut milk to be too expensive. Was also surprised by the Phad Thai ... no peanuts, and while they were generous with the shrimp -- it was extremely costly.Overall ... if you're hunkering for Asian food ... OK. But I'm not sure any self respecting Thai person would consider this a representation of their cuisine.
This place is great - don't let the low key decor fool you, they do a great job with fresh ingredients, do not try to Australianise their dishes, are not afraid to spice it up if you ask them to and unlike a lot of similar places, rice is included in the price. Takeaways are ready when they say they will be and they're always pleasant to deal with.
