Portland Cider Co - Clackamas

I specifically came here for the fondue, which is served with house-made sourdough, mustard, and a pickle. Unfortunately, it wasn't great—it was rather strange. The fondue had a consistency similar to spreadable cheese, almost like warm pub cheese, rather than being the typical liquid texture. The sourdough was actually a large soft pretzel, which, while not bad, was definitely burnt and scorched on the bottom. The mustard and the pickle were just okay, but everything had a surprising level of sweetness. The fondue, pretzel, mustard, and pickle were all noticeably sweet, creating an overwhelming combination. While a hint of sweetness can be enjoyable, having four sweet elements was just too much for me. I understand the food was based on cider, which isn't inherently sweet, and the cider I chose to drink with my meal wasn't sweet either. Given the food experience, I don’t plan to return. The restaurant is located at the back of an industrial park, and the signage was inadequate. My GPS kept saying I was close, but it looked like nothing but empty warehouses with no sign of a tasting room or restaurant.

The food and ciders at this restaurant are outstanding! I highly recommend trying a flight to sample a variety of flavors. Their Santa's Sauce cider is particularly impressive. The server was very friendly as well. We can’t wait to return soon!

I absolutely love Portland Cider Company! Chef Vinnie is amazing! The Thai Beef dish is simply out of this world—so delicious that it was almost finished before I knew it! The Old Fashion Burger is life-changing! The staff is fantastic—very knowledgeable and提供 great service. I’m definitely a lifelong customer!

The kind of spot where everyone knows your name. We really enjoy the cider selection, the grub, and the service.

Best dinner out we've had in a long time! God vibe and people! We saw it on the Facebook event page that they had happy hour with Santa! We wanted to see Santa again with our 1 year old and daddy loves cider so we went for dinner and ordered the brisket off the regular menu and pizza, Thai beef and chicken bites off the happy hour menu. I can't even tell you what was better! It was all amazing! I guess the I remodeled last May and have a new cook and menu and it is so good we can't wait to go back!
