Orsone - CIVIDALE DEL FRIULI

Well, locals are going there for burgers and tourists for Bastianich. Service is not friendly at all. The place is nice, Friuli is amazing for wine lovers. The wine is not bad at all, right place for in drink (I was local.. .

We came here because of Lydia’s enthusiasm with the area and her connection with the restaurant—the food was delicious, the service and ambiance were excellent but the music was extremely irritating!!!!! We had a very enjoyable lunch — the frico was delicious and the wine great We will probably return but will certainly ask the staff to change or turn off the music

My husband and I live in Friuli and had North American guests. We dropped in at Bastianich to show them the restaurant and have a glass of wine. We had passed the lunch hour time, so did not eat there. We had eaten lunch there in May 2018 with another friend, and found the ambience very pleasant. Not the music. This visit we where disappointed. We ordered our wine and sat in the inside bar area. The service was excellent and also the wine delicious. The atmosphere unfortunately not as good. The doors where open from the patio to the bar and some other patrons where sitting at the table right next to the door at an outside table smoking cigarettes! The smoke from the cigarettes was drifting directly into the inside bar and it was very unpleasant, we might as well have been sitting with them, having the lethal smoke blowing in our faces. My husband is an asthmatic, and we could not stay. Also the music was not our style, quite loud, reggae. This is a classy restaurant with a certain price attached, not a disco! The table right beside the door should be non smoking, especially when the doors are open,there are plenty of other tables in the garden area away from the door! Between the cigarette smoke and the music, we did not linger! Too bad because Orsone has a beautiful style, different from other restaurants in the area. I think they should pay attention to these unpleasant details. We often have guests and it is nice to show them the area, and the difference in styles of the excellent restaurants in our area.

Il hamburger è buonissimo, i vini sono ottimi, il personale è molto gentile e cordiale. La posizione è bellissima.

Sono tornato subito. Ho mangiato molto bene in un'atmosfera rilassata e confortevole.
