California Rollin' Sushi

The food and drinks here are excellent. You really have to try the different types of sushi and pair them with your drinks—you won't be disappointed! One of my favorite things is that you can enjoy dining outside at the bar or at the tables. There’s also live music, but make sure to check the schedule for performance times. The staff is extremely friendly and will gladly answer any questions you may have about the menu.

We had such a wonderful experience last night in california rollin! the food was great, the atmosphere was so beautiful and our waitress was excellent! Hannah and the team made such a great job, a birthday party to a wonderful night with great food and wonderful memories. thanks to many, and especially thanks to him, we will come back soon!

The atmosphere was wonderful. I encountered an issue with the point-of-sale system, but the bartender kindly offered me a coke. The music was excellent, and the Valerie Tempura was outstanding!

This is the best sushi I've ever had! My daughter ordered the Philadelphia roll with salmon, while I opted for a spicy tempura shrimp roll with coconut. Both were absolutely fabulous. My partner had the fried fish, which was a large, thick piece with a fantastic crunchy crust. The service was excellent as well. I highly recommend this place! It has a beautiful location at Charlotte Pier by Lake Ontario.

If I could give 6 stars I would! This place is one I will return to! The location is simply priceless. I got to eat and take a walk on the pier. The crawdads appetizer was cooked so well and the sauce was delicious. The Salmon bowl was run of the mill but delicious. I had a mango mojiito and it had real mango in it. The sever was nice and attentive and the decor was fresh and modern. This is a Rochester gem.
