Serge Bistro - City of New York

The lamb shank was incredibly tender, just as it should be, and packed with flavor. Our waitress was attentive to our needs, and the owner was friendly and welcoming. It was the ideal spot for a no-fuss dinner before the opera.

Great food, friendly staff and a delicious 3 course prix-fixe dinner menu.

Excellent food and service. Small place with relatively few tables in middle of non descript block on 2nd Avenue. A nice find.

In the neighborhood the is fast becoming Manhattan's new Gold Coast, Serge Bistro is a find. Serge will personally greet you , make dietary adjustments to recipes and sometimes even treat you to an a Capella melody. I go there at least once a week. A great Bistro menu is complimented with daily specials. The fish is always fabulous.

The food was good, the look of the place is good, service was fine (we were served by Serge) but for the entire time we were there, we were the only ones!
