フィードバックを提供するI went there for lunch and ordered a chicken sandwich. I requested shawarma, but they only offered souvlaki or "rotisserie." I ended up getting the rotisserie, but it definitely wasn't shawarma. It was just average. That will be my first and last visit.
The food was fantastic! I ordered the mixed grill for my entire family (4 people) for $45, and we all loved it. The chicken souvlaki was flavorful, while the lamb and beef were decent. The side of potatoes was great too. The portions were huge, and we even gave some to a woman on the street.
One item on the menu that may sound simple is the Haloumi Cheese, but it comes with grilled zucchini, red bell peppers, and tomato wedges. The sauce is a balsamic vinaigrette reduction that complements the fried cheese beautifully. The Haloumi has a mild flavor and a unique texture that squeaks between your teeth. I enjoy the combination of the sauce, grilled vegetables, and squeaky cheese so much that I often go out of my way to order just a side of it and make it a meal for myself.
Their food is really delicious! We've tried the chicken and beef kebabs and I highly recommend it both!Food: 5/5
Today a friend and I tried Pita Press for the first time. I am no expert on Greek food by any means so this is just the opinion of someone who loves food! The staff was super friendly and kind. They took the time to explain some of the differences in the chicken dishes. I had the chicken souvlaki plate with the home cut fries. The chicken portion could have been a bit more generous (4-chunks) but had the nice flavors from the grill. The fries were clearly handcut by the variety of shapes and we're good. The salad was my least favorite part and was a bit soggy. It was a bit pricey but def comparable to other lunch prices in the area. We will def be back though! Overall it was a winner!
