Generoso's Bakery - City of New York

Just found this authentic old school Italian bakery yesterday. The selection is large,the service was lovely, and the cookies are buttery and so fresh they talk back. Can 't wait to go get more!

I ordered a chocalate mousse strawberry cake the front guy has no idea to make order and owner was not avalalable they charged me 80 dollarsmake order

The thing is...the cannoli is made to order...and not only is it fresh, the quality of said filling is going to knock your socks off. The rest of the day you will walking around barefoot marveling at what transpired. And don't get me started on the sandwiches, or the almond cookies. The compliments will be flowing like Pringles. The food here is so good it might be illegal and the staff will make you feel like you are part of the family.

I ordered a bag from Too Good To Go from them and 2 heros, 4 croissants and no pastries. Breads are old and not fresh. Will not go back again.
