フィードバックを提供するI'm still a bit of the george, almost twenty-four hours after my lunch. a very typical london pub (e.g. outside and in; cramped rooms are larger than they are wide; overpriced alcohol and a disappointing amount of lapse), the george should have nothing for it. her lunch business could be a hint of an anomaly in her eating. choose a sandwich or a pack and a side. the hammock and the gruyere panini were grinded upwards after a fast pupping game of the available full-grain senfs. a small complaining about the quality of the ciabatta, which had a tendency to the very hard side of the dinge. the bbq pulled pigs battle was...read more
I sat upstairs, which is very comfortable and plough. the devilled nieren were simply super .. not what I would normally order. I ordered roast meat bark medium rare, the tasteless, too lean and cold, but the sweet, especially bratkartoffeln were excellent. When I was asked how I enjoyed eating, I informed the team member that the bark was disappointed. she wanted to change my whole plate and even asked if I wanted to order something else. I enjoy the sweetness that I proposed to change the bark. she took my part of the bark and brought a cut from another piece. it was warmer, not so leaner that tasted him more and tasted better. Restaurants with Sunday roasts must ensure that they receive the bark “spot on”.
Came for the Sunday roast, which was excellent. we are going to hawksmoor for sunday roast and thought that would be just as good if not better! the staff was very friendly and welcoming and the escaping area in the upper floor was cozy and comfortable. unusually large selection of...local weeping too. in any case worth a visit.
We visited the dining room in the upper floor for Sunday dinner. the food was perfect. the roast beef was pink in the middle and the whole sweet perfectly cooked. the bratkartoffels had to die. a Sunday roast cost what I thought was fair. for quality. the staff was very attentive and polite. can't blame the experience at all. we're coming back.
This is the george pub on the great portland street not confused with the george and dragon pub on cleveland street. recently opened and we live locally so really want to try it out, but came very disappointed. we had only beer, the special pinner and an ipa. we ordered from the bar and the bar offering has a terrible employment problems, but also us service fee. End-up costs over quid a beer and the pilsner was under average. we looked at the menu and the price was eye irrigation also for the center of london plus service fee for the exchange of platter). decor looks like samuel forged, except two tvs showing sport. they try to please the locals, but have to cancel the chances since they needed years to renovate. they have a room in the upper floor to be opened in the fairytale. they don't go there unless they have a lot to waste.
