Good coffee in right sauces sauces; comfortable sofas, fast service. just a bit expensive, even for the center of london.

Small, quiet caffe in the ground floor of the royal institute of british architects on portland. relatiw limited selection of food. for lunch I had a chicken Caesar wrap with salad that was delicious and appropriate.

Large small caffe that was thrown away in the RIBA building. open to all, and quite quiet for the center of london. great sandwiches, salads and desserts, made by the excellent riba restaurant on the top floor.

Very quiet, but quite expensive. it is public, but very small. great hot chocolate!

My wife and I had lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious; I particularly liked the prawns in squid ink pasta. However, the tables seemed out of place in the spacious upstairs dining area. We were the only customers and felt a bit uncomfortable. Despite the impressive Art Deco design of the building, the dining hall lacked atmosphere and didn't feel like a cozy bistro. Unless they get more customers, I don't think this restaurant will survive.
