We feel that there are thousands and thousands of such institutions in london. we saw one at each corner, but still we love the concept.

It poured out and I could see how the pret cried to me, so reluctantly I went in. the tee was disappointing, but the pulpit was great. nothing new about the place, the same old one.

Mary Queen of Scots House circa 1905, Grade II Listed where “Pret a Manger” currently occupies the ground floor aside Cheshire Alley. An elaborate, detailed and idiosyncratic Gothic fantasy that also incorporates some Art Nouveau flourishes and a prominent statue of Queen Mary to whom the building is dedicated. Surrounded by an assortment of historic buildings that distinguish this segment of Fleet Street.

Lovely food. A bit expensive and not a lot of comfort for eating in.
