Excellent little Spanish restaurant that we found for our anniversary trip. My wife 's dad is from Spain, so she 's pretty discerning when it comes to tapas. We ordered 6-7 different ones along with sangria, and we were as impressed with the food and drinks as in Spain. This restaurant shows why there 's no need to try to elevate tapas- with excellent ingredients and cooking, the food speaks for itself. When we 're in London again, we will definitely be back!
As a Spaniard myself, I highly recommend this restaurant. The owner, chef, and service were excellent. The food was even better than what you would find in Spain! The octopus a la gallega is a must-try. We ordered nearly all of the tapas (we were a group of seven) and wines. The quality and price make it the best restaurant in London.
This is by far my favorite restaurant in London, having lived in the area for 2 years. The food is authentic and they have a great selection of tapas. The paella is a must-try, you will regret it for years if you don't! The prices are reasonable and the service is excellent, with a sincere Mediterranean passion. The owner, Don Pepe, has been running this restaurant for 50 years and always greets his customers with a big smile and warm hospitality, regardless of whether they speak Spanish or not.
I traveled from Manchester for the Pearl Jam concert and stumbled upon this amazing restaurant. The food was incredible; we initially ordered 5 tapas dishes and ended up ordering 2 more because it was so delicious. The value for money, authenticity, service, and friendliness were all top-notch. I would gladly drive 200 miles again just to dine here.
