フィードバックを提供するI have been a regular at this cozy kebab shop for many years. The shish kebabs are fantastic, with generous portions of meat and condiments. They offer chips inside pita bread, a delicious twist on the classic chip butty. I recommend trying it with plenty of burger or chili sauce. The prices are also very reasonable.
I used to live close to this small takeout spot, and my weekly go-to order was their grilled kebabs. My personal favorite was the shish kebab, which is a perfectly seasoned Arabic-style kebab. Since I've moved away, I really miss this place. The only downside is that on weekend evenings, the service can be slow due to high demand. You won't find a better takeout kebab in London.
This take-away restaurant may be small and casual, but who cares when the food is quick, hot, and delicious? This place serves some of the fastest, cheapest, and tastiest Turkish kebabs in London. Everything is cooked right in front of you, and the sauces and salads are always fresh due to the high turnover. I recommend trying the lamb shish and lamb doner with chips and chili sauce - skip the burgers.
Food 3 starsPrice 4 starsPortion size 3Service 1 starI would give this place a 0 star for service.I noticed this place the other day while walking and I deliberately walked several miles out of my way to go there today.I inquired if the chicken was halal as well as the lamb. The man in the blue shirt pointed at sign in window and said “see that symbol”? Then started laughing at me.I asked for chicken on chips. He was still shaking his head and laughing when he repeated, chicken on chips .Two men arrived, who apparently spoke the same language as the man in blue shirt. He commenced conversing with them, and then started cutting lamb. I knew his intention was to serve the two men before me because I had ordered chicken. After a minute or two, another man working in the shop asked me what I was having.I again said Chicken on chips. He confirmed, chicken on chips . I said yes please. The other two men commenced eating, my chicken had not yet been cut.I was asked if I would like salt.I said yes please.Man in blue shirt looked at me and started laughing and shaking his head again.I paid and left.I do not recommend this place if you are easily offended.
I recently dined at a restaurant participating in the Eat Out To Help Out scheme, where all dishes were 50% off. I confirmed this with the waitress before ordering, only to be treated differently afterwards. I ordered a Shish Taouk without specifying the size, and the waitress failed to ask me. When I questioned the size, she claimed she had ordered the larger dish because of a supposed minimum spend requirement with the scheme, which was not true. Her service was poor, and the restaurant did not seem to care about social distancing, as evidenced by a customer sitting at a table marked for spacing and the lack of enforcement by staff. When I raised my concerns with the manager, Ali, he dismissed them and did not provide reassurance that changes would be made. Overall, the experience did not leave me confident in returning to the restaurant in the future.
