フィードバックを提供するWonderful foods only ask that they be more realistic about Prep Time. Your sushi is well prepared and the best deal in town. But you might want to double the time they give you to pick up orders. It is possible that they do not want to tell you the realistic time because it will sound too long. We ordered the sushi for two (this is easy enough for four and we have great appetite! It was nicely prepared, but they told me 25 minutes and it was closer to an hour. Double the time, and then you will be very happy with this place!
The food was pretty good. The price was very reasonable. The service was fine but the employees didn't seem happy. They don't take American Express credit cards. The selection is large. They have two menus, one for Chinese food and another for Japanese food.
I visited this place with 3 of my friends. I tend to leave decent tips and I recommend restaurants to my friends often. Unfortunately when we went we received service so abysmal that we felt the need to apologize to our visiting friend and let her know this was not how the rest of Ithaca represents itself. We waited 30 minutes for menus. When we were done ordering, the menu was yanked out of my hand. Beyond that, I had to take chopped sticks from another table because they failed to supply half of our table any. They never refilled our water. We spent less than 20 minutes eating and ran out. I even asked for a to-go box because I didn't want to spend any more time there. Their service was so slow I ended up finishing all of my tempura and sushi roll before they even ran the cards. It took them at least 20 more minutes to do that. The phone also ran for every single minute we were there and no one ever picked it up or silenced it. Take note, when we got there the place was empty. It wasn't busy so the terrible service was not due to an abundance of customers. The food was decent but I would not recommend the place to anyone with reasonable standards of hospitality.
Been here twice in two days. Yesterday, I ordered well in advance 45 minutes) and my order wasn’t ready. Food was decent. Nothing special. Today, I’m now waiting 30 minutes and my order still isn’t ready. Today, they ran out of beef. I don’t understand that. Both times, the place was near empty. Today, as I wait, there are 4 uncleared tables. It looks very sloppy and unprofessional. Unfortunately, I will not be returning here anymore.
Been a long time since I ran into such bad service, and mediocre food. I ordered for delivery, and it arrived after more than an hour. One of the main courses was not properly closed and the whole bag was drenched in sauce. The salmon was super dry and over cooked, the sushi was less then mediocre. Lastly when we were ordering on the phone the lady was yelling at us and other people in the restaurant, she barely spoke English and was impassion it’s ok if she doesn’t speak the language but she should be the one taking the phone calls if she DOEST UNDERSTAND. We were visiting Ithaca for the weekend, every place we went to and visited was extremely nice and friendly, we ordered here before leaving, and left a bad taste to a wonderful stay at Ithaca.
