We picked Farmacy on a whim and I am so glad we did! The space is small and intimate with several tables andthen a counter and small bar with the kitchen cooking right in front of you. We started with the Cucumber salad so refreshingwith just a hint of spice. Perfect start for 2. I ordered the Yellow Drank lemony with a sour kick and a sweet finish. Hubbyordered the Nashville chicken sandwich. He is not always a fan of thigh, but loved it on this. Not too much heat either.Proclaimed one of the best chicken sandwiches ever. I ordered the burger and it was cooked perfectly even though I asked forwell. Delicious! Both of our meals came with fries homemade and seasoned nicely. Finally, dessert. Homemade cider donut withpeanut butter ice cream and strawberry preserves and a Cinco Leche. I actually preferred the flavor of the first. The cake inthe Leche was firmer than I like; I am accustomed to it being soft and having soaked up all of that yummy flavor. Hubby loved itthough. This is a definite repeat destination for me. Their menu changes regularly and I can't wait to see what they have instore for fall.
We were in from out of town and stumbled across this place thanks to Google. If we were locals it would be a regular Sunday brunch spot. The vibe is amazing and the food was even better. A must try.
I am an imhorse at the POD in the old seafarers and the dinner we received tonight was terrible. The brisket was a very small amount and was so dry and stringy I could hardly chew it. I also had three whole potatoes that were not cooked. I couldn't even bite her! Very disappointed about eating
My wife and I were doing a Christmas weekend in Glenn’s Falls this past weekend. It was the first time in town and we didn’t know where to eat. We searched online and had several options. While walking past farmecy one of the chefs working the line (big window overlooking street) smiled and waved to us on the street. That friendliness settled it, we would try farmecy and we were so glad we did! From the moment we walked in (without a reservation) Naomi treated us like we were weekly regulars. We sat at the chefs bar, amazing seats! Chef AJ and Naomi were awesome in their friendliness, hospitality and suggestions. The chefs menu was incredible. The flavors and presentation were outstanding. They told us the story of their farm fresh menu and we could tell they loved what they did. We loved it so much we went back the next night, where Naomi immediately greeted us and welcomed us back and remembered it was my birthday! We sat in the dining room and had another great experience ending with an amazing birthday desert. On the way out Chef AJ, Naomi and the team spent a few moments to chat with us. Definitely feel the passion for the food, drink and service here. A must visit!! We look forward to returning to visit again!
Eclectic and original barely does this unique gem justice. Creative cocktails, delicious farm to table fare and even local wine made this a must visit bistro. Excellent, charming service completed the experience. Don't miss this one in Glens Falls! Reservations highly recommended.
