The home-cooked food here is excellent, and it's wonderful to support a local business. I always choose to eat here whenever I'm downtown for lunch.

This restaurant primarily caters to employees from the nearby city, county, and state office buildings. The daily specials can be inconsistent, and the salad bar often features wilted vegetables and questionable meats. Sometimes you might enjoy a delicious meal, while other times it feels like you're getting yesterday's chicken sandwich repurposed as chicken and biscuits. If you're hungry and don't want to venture further, it will suffice. However, a quick five-minute walk in any other direction will lead you to better quality dining options.
