I wished there had been lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on my Bacon King, but Meg pointed out that those toppings would have made it a different menu item. You can’t go wrong with their fries—always a favorite of mine—and getting to choose my preferred Coke product was a nice touch. Overall, both meals met my expectations and didn’t disappoint. The dining area was quite simple compared to the old days of vibrant product posters and friendly faces, but the place was immaculate. I appreciated that all sanitation regulations seemed to be followed in both the dining area and the kitchen. It was a decent lunch experience, but I do have one complaint. When I checked my receipt, it totaled over $24.00. So, we ended up paying full-service restaurant prices for a fast-food experience. In the end, it's up to readers to decide whether they want to place their order at the counter or sit down and be served. If you’re leaning towards the former, I would recommend the B-K on Front Street.
Fast food restaurants like this one are making it hard to recommend them, even when you're in a hurry, as it now takes an eternity to get your food here. Despite being called "fast" food, it's anything but. From what I observed, the issue seems to stem from inadequate training and poor management. It's not just the younger staff; there was an older woman hanging around and doing nothing while waiting for mozzarella sticks, even though there were 6-7 customers waiting for their orders. Staffing doesn't appear to be the problem either, as there were about 9 or 10 employees on duty. They really need to improve!
On November 29, 2023, I visited this Burger King for the first time. I ordered a small soda, and by the time I was mostly home, I noticed soda spilled all over my coat. When I finally stopped, I discovered that my cup holder had a half-inch of soda in it due to a pinhole leak in the bottom of the cup. I'm not sure if the employees are being mistreated or just unprofessional, but it was frustrating. Additionally, the drive-thru layout is poorly designed. When I reached the pickup window, my order was right there, yet the woman at the window seemed distracted, as if she was searching for something (was my soda sitting in a puddle of soda?). To top it off, the fries were only lukewarm at best.
Pretty miserable experience tonight. They didn't have items that were listed on the online menu and the girl taking the order wouldn't have known what it was anyway. I ordered a double whopper melt add bacon and got a double cheeseburger. Fries were cold and the girl at the cashier window was b#%ch that snapped at me because she didn't un'entità order. What a waste of 30 bucks.
Well this was part of the epic road trip and this was our final destination ok not Burger King literally but NY. We stopped as basically we were turning around to head back home. This place is a good option, its clean, the restrooms well maintained, the food was fresh. Although my husband made the mistake of getting their new grilled hot dogs. I asked him if he'd order it again and he said probably not. Mind you I don't like hot dogs at all, I will eat them in extreme cases only if covered in chili to cover them up. I reminded my husband we were at Burger King and not hot dog king. He agreed. If traveling up I-81 its not too far off the interstate too so makes it a good option if you need a pit stop on your road trip.
