Brown's Fish Chips - Christchurch

We stopped here for dinner last night after visiting Mudeford and we're so glad we did. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the cod and chips were fantastic! We were also pleased that our dogs were allowed to sit inside with us.

I recently ordered takeout from this restaurant while on vacation and it was just as delicious as when we dined in last summer. We shared gluten free fish, chips, sausages in batter, and mushy peas, all of which were cooked perfectly. The food was prepared quickly to order and we didn't have to wait long. We really enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to returning.

We live near this chippy and visit it frequently because I have celiac disease. This place serves the best gluten-free fish and chips in the area. Although there is a gluten-free chippy closer to my home, it is definitely worth the trip to this one. The chips always seem fresh every time we visit. I highly recommend getting the gluten-free curry sauce as it is better than the regular one.

We had a takeaway from here last night after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. Very impressed by quality of fish -I had the cod and my husband the haddock. We will definitely return the next time we are on holiday in the area.

Good service, polite professional, organised. Good fish and chips; fresh fish, crispy batter, nice chips. Gave it rather than stars as I thought it was a bit pricey. That's all. Otherwise nice
