The Good Home - Christchurch

The Good Home Wigram offers a separate vegan menu which is perfect for this kind of establishment. It has a classic pub atmosphere, reflected in the food. I had the curry with rice and poppadom, which was more of a British pub curry than an authentic Indian dish (but I still enjoyed it.) My companion tried the burger and chips; the burger patty was made of beans, so it wasn't very exciting, but it came on a delicious Bretzel bun and the chips were tasty. I will definitely come back to try the other vegan options.

This bistro is our favorite spot to dine. The food is always consistently delicious and we have dined here many times. They offer a great selection of dishes and drinks, but most importantly the service is top-notch. On summer evenings, they have a great outdoor area to enjoy a beer in the sun. The second level outdoor terrace is perfect for watching the sunset and savoring a glass of summer wine. Highly recommend!

Amazing atmosphere! Tasty food definitely recommend going there

From the moment we came inside, we were all welcomed warmly. And all throughout our stay, from the moment they were taking the orders, until we finished the delicious food, we were made to feel that we were wanted there. In simple words, the service was top-notch. My plea to the The Good Home Wigram team: “Please don’t ever change even if your busy. Your warm and friendly service is one of your best attributes, please don’t lose that.” Speaking of food, it was really tasty and it was obvious that they are dedicated to delivering good food. (I had the potato wedges with cheese and bacon) The coffee was 5/5 as well! (I had a hazelnut mocha) All in all! Well done, The Good Home Wigram!

Very loyal staff. we called the chance to a light meal before a movie we had booked at silky otter next door. we asked if it was possible to get one of their delicious pizzas in 30 minutes, and the waitress replied: 'I will make sure they have it in 15' and we have. the place was quite busy at the time to 6.30ish went for the mustang pizza pulled pork etc. the tasty was a cider and a beer were our refreshments, also well served overall a very good experience by the way they take with a necessary impfpasse serious for the entry and masks worn by all employees.
