Lovely looking pub outside and in. Large car park and outdoor seating also Since we last visited a few years ago it has been refurbished and it looks lovely Decent menu although not much for a light bite Everything was ok with the food although the ‘triple cooked chips’ only tasted like they had been cooker once as they were only just cooked ! Disappointed with those Service was good

Bank Holiday birthday celebrations. Excellent 3 course meal. So tasty,hot and service brilliant. Highly recommended. Great selection of beers and lager

We were a large family group who ordered a variety of meals. Everyone very happy with their meals, generous serves and all piping hot. Kids menu good too. Prompt and efficient service, good atmosphere.

We'd been to the Boars Head once before for a light lunch, which had been fine, but this time we brought the family for a proper Sunday lunch. The restaurant and bar were very busy, but we were given a friendly welcome and service throughout was unflustered, unobtrusive, prompt and excellent. Altogether, we had three different starters, six different adult main courses and five different desserts and every item on every plate was superb well cooked, well presented and delicious. This is definitely our new favourite restaurant and I can't wait to go back.

Called in for food following going to a Dog Show at the Village Hall. We had Starters served as main course with a side order of chips. Everything delicious and we will certainly make a point of eating here again. Staff very pleasant and helpful too
