Don Julio - Chisago City

This is one of my wife’s favorite restaurants. We recently visited on Valentine's Day 2022. She ordered the ultimate nachos but requested them without most of the toppings, so it was mainly just nachos with chicken, salad, and queso. I decided to try the Parrillada (for one). I really liked the presentation and the atmosphere. We both started enjoying our meals, but unfortunately, my wife discovered a hair in her nachos. We made sure it wasn’t one of ours before we brought it to the staff's attention, and they took it away promptly.

This was my first visit to Don Julio's in a long time, and I must admit that my previous experiences had deterred me from returning. However, my son wanted to celebrate his birthday there, so I decided to give it another chance. I'm glad I did! This time, the food and service were significantly improved. I’m open to returning for dinner again in the future.

Food was good, except the tortillas, they were so thin and flimsy that we couldn't eat them. They also had no taste, it is too bad because the rest of the food was good. Chips and salsa were excellent. We went to Mother's day and they gave Mother's flowers very nice.

The food was excellent, the service was fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable! We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. My friend and I are both very satisfied!
