Owen's Bistro - Chino

After seeing Owen's Bistro pop up as a recommendation for a steak, decided to try it out for date night. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Will definitely return.

Buffalo chicken dish was good. The cheesy rice concoction was good too, gave a warm fuzzy comfort food feeling. You have to make your reservations online and also order your meal online just a heads up.

Portion size is meager/tiny according to any standard. After spending $50 per person, would you not expect you to have eaten? Service is so, food tasted good, but not enough. The menu has no vegan or vegetarian options, so after meal we asked the owner if they 'd consider adding vegan/vegetarian items in the menu, they arrogantly reacts all my customers know that they can order from the menu We politely asked if they 'd consider this known online for the new customers, they said I did not advertise. As customers for the first time, we felt very insulted.

I had a lovely time at Owen's Bistro! The food was pretty delightful and the ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice! I do, however, have to say their service is okay. ? Which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. For food we ordered: Appetizer: Ratatouille on sourdough ? Entree: The Pumpkin Pork Potpie! ? ? Entree: Ribeye Steak w/ button mushrooms truffle butter ??? Wine: 2017 Stags' Leap Cabernet I ordered a bottle of wine and wasn't given proper wine service. The server just came over, opened the bottle, poured the wine and left. Didn't present the bottle or give the 1oz pour to taste before pouring the rest of the wine. Didnt really give us the time of day... I know it's details but the details matter. I saw them do proper wine service take their time to make conversation at another table, (Which happened to be Caucasian), so I know, they know how. It is definitely more of a Caucasian clientele establishment, take that as you will. ? I still had a lovely time and the food was good! I definitely won't be back but it's worth giving them a try for a nice date night.

Always a delicious meal! The service is top notch, ambience is really nice and the menu changes always keep it interesting with new things to try. A hidden little gem in Chino!
