New York Pizzeria - Chino

I very much liked this pizza. I moved to California from the east coast 21 years ago and I have been largely disappointed with the pizza in this state. Most of the places labeled as 'good ' or 'great ' are just about average. Now don 't get me wrong, average pizza is still better than most other foods. But in those 21 years, the only times I can say I was actually IMPRESSED by the pizza can be narrowed down to three times. Ciro 's in San Diego 's gaslamp, Bella 's in riverside on Arlington, and New York pizzeria in chino. It smells great from the moment I walked in with my mask on, the pizza cooked pretty quickly (which tells me a lot, like they have properly heated ovens! and as I drove around looking for a place to stop and eat because I was about 30 miles from home (also letting the pizza cool! it filled the car with a wonderful pleasing aroma. I finally pulled into a parking lot and had my first bite. Two slices out of 8, saving much of it for later. It was very impressive. I thought 'maybe I 'm just super hungry, everything tastes better hungry '. Well 2 hours later, I had a cold slice. Again, great, and I typically do not like cold pizza. Now, all that said, the slice I had was their 'normal ' pepperoni pizza, not the 'New York thin ' style, so I have yet to try that style, but if it 's just as good as the regular pie, it should be great too. (Update: I’ve since had the New York style. It’s my favorite now from them! Also, staff was super friendly, and as I waited outside, could see into the kitchen, when my pizza was ready, the guy behind the glass motioned to me to come back in.

The pizza place was extremely busy as usual which is great , Ordered A extra large pepperoni pizza and a couple of sandwiches including a pastrami sandwich a pastrami to go, when I got home turns out they gave me a hot turkey sandwich (instead of pastrami sandwich) call them and they immediately told me they will make me my pastrami sandwich and will have it delivered to me which was fantastic. Mistakes happen but great customer service.

Great pizza and better service. Reasonable prices, considering the quality of food you receive. I will definitely be going back to try a wider selection of their menu.

This place is great all around. Simple menu that delivers consistently. Pizza is delicious. Meatball sandwich is my favorite. Their customer service is always A+ and can’t rave enough about it.

I just tried her cheese pizza, because the New York style is well represented by the cheese slice. Basically, the dough is more airy, yeastier and fluffier than your typical New York style pizza. The crust was a bit thick and diligent, which is not the type made of New York style. Overall, it is a decent slice, but it is closer to a Domino thin crust than a New York slice. The interior is a little dated and feels like an old school sports bar or pub. There are many parking spaces on the Strip Mall. Staff are very friendly and service was fast.
