Bett's Big T - Chiefland

READ FIRST All food ordered was cold and pre made, nothing was fresh. I ordered all you can eat seafood. It should be called all you can stomach. The fried catfish fillets had the skin left on (barf that was a slimy surprise). I will be deworming myself tonight. Nothing had good flavor. Only leaving this review because I am nauseous 5 minutes after I left. I will not be back.

Food was hot.and delicious. Fast service with happy people.

Good coffee! Got seated quickly and the waitress was right there to take my order. Food came out perfect. I'll definitely go back for lunch and dinner.

After sitting there a good 15 minutes, the manager finally approached asked if we've been served. I told her two different employees said they will be with us within a minute, The food was straight up Nasty, fried Chicken dry ,mashed potatoes box. The gravy was so over seasoned. I couldn't even eat the mashed potatoes. I asked for an extra thing of gravy cuz I like dipping my fried chicken in it. It was so over season it was even worse. You'll never have to worry about me coming back. The outside is very nice and when you walk inside the place look like you walked back in the 1960. Not impressed. Would never go back. The young man that was our waiter on this Sunday afternoon said he was the only one there that poor boy was working his tail off when you had the manager and two other people in the far back there. Horseplaying this is not how a business should be ran.

We ate at Big T twice in the last couple weeks. First time was a Sunday around 1 pm. We waited an hour before getting any food. I did notice some long time locals who came in after us, ate and left before we were give a menu and served our food. Second time was the Friday nite AUCE Seafood, the serving size was small and none of the sides came out correctly. The staff was inattentive and they control the all U can eat, by not coming back to check on you. The food is reasonably priced for the quality and while I understand that good help is had to keep other local eateries don’t seem to have the same issues.
