Ojiya Japanese Steakhouse - Chico

This is our favorite sushi restaurant in Chico. We’ve been coming here since our first date 13 years ago. If you haven't tried it yet, give it a go!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I visited with my family and we enjoyed our meal at the Hibachi Grill. Our chef had a great sense of humor and kept us entertained throughout the evening. I ordered the filet mignon and tuna, both of which were absolutely delicious. The filet mignon was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth. I can't wait to return!

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! You have the option to sit on either the sushi side or the hibachi side, and if you choose the hibachi section, you can still order sushi. We opted for the hibachi side, and our cook was incredibly entertaining and funny—it felt like we were enjoying a magical show and a comedy act while having dinner. The food was fresh and delicious, and everyone in the restaurant was having a great time. The staff was very friendly, and they checked on us several times, so we never had to ask for drink refills. This is definitely a fantastic place to enjoy dinner with friends and family, where you won't have to entertain your guests; instead, you can all enjoy the entertainment together!

My daughter took me to Mother's Day. The boss was very personal and funny. He did cool tricks and the food was great. It's a great place for the Wnole family.

Delicious food, nice and clean. Everyone was really nice.. it was so fun watching our chef do his tricks and make fire.
