Taza - Chicago

I don't recommend trying this place. When I arrived, the staff seemed too distracted to assist me. I ordered the shawarma, only to find out that it wasn't made fresh from the rotisserie; it was pre-cooked. The falafel were alright, but nothing special. They do have seating available, but there are no restrooms. When I asked about it, the owner just suggested I "use the sanitizer."

Vegetarian options: There were plenty of delicious vegan and vegetarian choices! Dietary restrictions: They offered excellent options for vegans!

I truly enjoyed the food; it was incredibly tasty. The hot falafel and baklava were especially fresh and bursting with flavor. In fact, everything I tried was amazing. The customer service was excellent as well. If you have the opportunity, you definitely must visit Taza Cafe to enjoy some delicious food! Food rating: 5/5.

I found Taza Cafe during the shutdown when so much near my office was closed but I continue to head there once a week even though it is a little hike. I love the falafel pita, spicy. The guys who work there are fast and friendly.

Used to come here with my dad because it reminds us of the food back home ms overseas. Definitely authentic in terms of Middle Eastern food. It’s a nice little hole in the wall, but that’s sometimes a difficulty because the line wraps around the room. Would love to see them expand because they are one of the best middle eastern restaurants downtown
