Strings Ramen Shop Lakeview - Chicago

My dining experience was quite enjoyable. The menu featured a variety of appealing dishes, and I look forward to trying more of them in the future. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was served faster than I expected.

We recently visited Strings in Lakeview and enjoyed their Vegetarian Shoyu and Hell Ramen at level 1 – both dishes were delicious. The broths were incredibly rich and perfectly seasoned, particularly the Hell Ramen level 1, which had a nice spicy kick. The only downside was that the broths arrived lukewarm rather than hot. However, the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

The ramen shop may be small, but the food is incredibly delicious and the staff are very friendly! I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend you give it a try as well!

We are vegetarian and had no problem finding something to eat. The portions are huge and there are cool Japanese drinks. Service is quick and friendly. A great spot to go when it's cold and rainy. Noodles are perfectly cooked, the egg is perfectly cooked, and the broth is always so yummy.

Small cozy ramen shop that does the job. Tonkotsu: Get! This one had an amazingly rich broth that was a tad top oily/fatty for me. It was still tasty but my preference is a little bit cleaner for this. The noodles were great with a good bite and firmness to it. The pork belly was a big chunk of meat which I wasn't used to but meh it did the job. It's like $18 bucks though so it's definitely not that casual Service was super attentive and friendly and as a quick ramen stop... I was in and out in like 15 minutes. There's not that many tables or space though so it can get super crowded during meal times. At 2pm though it was quite easy and empty. Food: 7/10 Service: 8/10 Atmosphere: 5/10 Value: 6/10
