I just popped in for a quick beer and had an ice-cold Old Style. It’s a charming little corner bar in the neighborhood. I only wish I had time to try some of the food!
Fantastic tavern-style pizza! My friend ordered the caprese grilled cheese and really enjoyed it. We were surprised to find out that it was cash only when we placed our order, but luckily we had enough cash on hand; if you don't, there is an ATM in the bar. Parking was excellent—I was able to find free street parking right next to the restaurant. I would definitely dine here again the next time I’m in town. 10/10!
Anna’s Delight Pizza is the best! Love the atmosphere and one of our frequent favorites.
Nobody does a neighborhood bar quite like Chicago. This is a real, down-to-earth place with a friendly vibe and killer food. It doesn't quite feel like a dive bar, since there's good beer on tap and quality liquor options available, but I'm sure many opt for more basic drinks. However, the tavern-style pizza is truly the star of the show with fantastically thin crust. I recommend a side of ranch. On the weekends, the full kitchen closes around 9 or 9:30, but pizzas are made until 11:30pm. Lunch is served from 11:30am onward.
