Quiote - Chicago

That was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The food itself was decent, but everything else was atrocious. The waitress was awful, seating us at a high table in the bar instead of a regular one as per my reservation. She forgot half of our order and never bothered to check on us. There was no apology for her mistakes. The drinks, especially the espresso, were subpar. The portions were small and difficult to share, despite being small plates. The service was extremely slow. Overall, I will not be returning and I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Creative Mexican cuisine...and it’s all quite good. Nice drink selections, including an amazing hibiscus margarita. The service was really good. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Nice outdoor seating during the nice weather. We love this place!

We had to wait 20 minutes past the reservation for our table. The style is decadent small plates. You have to squeeze in to tables (feels even tight for a petite woman), the noise level is an issue for a table size more than 2 people. One of our drink orders was mixed up twice. So we already had our second small plate before we had our drinks. We would not come here again.

I had a great experience at this Mexico City Mexican restaurant with an interesting menu. The snapper ceviche, avocado salad, and lamb carnitas were all delicious. However, the standout was the tres leches dessert - it was amazing! We definitely plan on returning as we loved our dinner.

Visited Quiote for brunch on a Sunday. The restaurant was empty. After checking in we were seated very quickly. The service was very slow. It took at least 25 minutes to order and receive our first round of drinks. Food was average at best; avocado crab toast had almost no crab, chips for chilaquiles were soggy, and the brisket quesadilla didn't have the brisket in it, simply laid on top. We liked the potatoes and because we couldn't get churros, settled for a cinnamon roll that we shared with the table. Quiote is a cute space, maybe dinner is a better option.
