フィードバックを提供するThe food was exceptional, but I was shocked with the service or lack there of. At these prices and with a Michelin rating, the service has major room to improve. I understand that I am comparing it to other Michelin restaurants I’ve been to where service is part of the experience, but when we asked to pack our food, the server threw a box on our table and ran off. This is just an example and maybe she was having a bad day, but it was a cold, impersonal experience throughout the meal and definitely affected our thoughts on the restaurant. Now, the food was creative, beautiful, and absolutely divine.Dietary restrictions: Not very many options if you’re kosher, vegetarian/vegan. Many of the dishes have pork by-products
Loved this place. It's a super chill vibe but also has all the vibes of a fine dining establishment. This could be just an outing for friends or family or you could have a nice date here as well. The food was delicious, the fish was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Service was great as well, bartender was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and gave excellent recommendations based on my tastes and diet restrictions. Highly recommend
The venue feels business casual but slightly upscale. They have a very novel and delicious collection of beers and cocktails. They are known for their Chocolate cake, which I ordered, but did not like.Their butter cream has a texture similar to frosting. So if you do not like frosting do not order the cake or expect to slice off the four layers that come into contact with the butter cream.Despite my taste preferences the cake is a true work of art. However I think the craft beer menu, being so unique, is much more of an enticing reason to visit.
I've loved their beers, finally got to go. It's definitely a high end establishment. The venue is dark yest welcoming. Youre treated like royalty from the moment you enter. The Michelin star chef definitely lived up to his reputation. To be expected though. It's expensive.
This restaurant definitely deserves their Michelin star!We were unable to get reservations for the tasting menu but, we found reservations at the bar. The bar area has a more laid back feel and better for a group of friends. The service was fantastic. The waiter went above and beyond to make sure all of our needs were taken care of. The tartare was out of this world and bursting withe different flavors I wouldn't think to combine together. My main dish was a Moroccan eggplant tagine. I usually go for protein but this was an unexpected delight. It is great for a cold night. We ended with the lime cheesecake and it was light and fluffy. They have a huge selection of beers that will not disappoint. Definitely try this place next time you are in Chicago!
