Mccb - Chicago

I had an excellent meal at MCCB. Everything was delicious and full of flavor. We ordered the Dry Chili Chicken, which was nice and crispy with the perfect amount of spice—I absolutely loved it. The Dan Dan Noodles were also well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. Additionally, the egg rolls were crispy without being overly oily. Overall, I can’t wait to return. The portion sizes are generous, making it easy to share a few dishes. My friend and I were so absorbed in the food that we hardly said a word while we ate!

There aren't many Chinese restaurants in this area that serve truly spicy food, but MCCB definitely delivers. As someone who enjoys a good amount of heat in my meals, I've noticed that many places tend to hold back on spice to avoid driving off customers. While I wouldn't say MCCB's spice level is over the top, it was definitely sufficient for my taste. The menu is extensive and the prices are quite reasonable. You'll find both traditional dishes and more westernized options available. This restaurant was quite busy; even on a weekday, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. The staff was friendly and attentive, guiding us through the menu items without seeming frustrated. Overall, great service!

Great restaurant in the mall of Chinatown. Classic Chinese dishes with a little twist. The spicy garlic eggplant was to die for. Absolutely would recommend it to everyone. Ask for their chilli as well, we ended up putting that on everything. Their housefried tofu was good, but a bit basic.

Got the dry chili chicken and salt and pepper tofu. Both dishes were tasty and made with high quality ingredients. The environment is clean and the service is really nice too! Would definitely come back!

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. The egg drop soup is decent, but nothing exceptional. However, the fried rice is excellent! I prefer to start with the basic dishes—if they can prepare good fried rice and noodles, it's a good sign that their other dishes will be tasty as well. The interior is nice and clean, and it's been listed in the Michelin guide for four consecutive years. Overall, it's a great place to dine.
