La Chaparrita Grocery - Chicago

This is a hidden gem and one of the top restaurants in the city in my opinion. I have brought friends from out of town here and they have been so impressed that they have shed tears, as it feels like eating a homemade meal. I don't want to keep this place a secret, it deserves to be shared.

My partner and I drove 45 minutes to dine at this restaurant and it was definitely worth the journey. Not only was the food incredible, but the staff were also very welcoming and attentive.
