Hai Yen Restaurant - Chicago

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Salt and pepper tofu, mango salad, shrimp rolls all delicious!

Amazing food and great home cooking. The best Vietnamese food hands down on argyle. The owner and daughter are always hospitable and accommodating and so friendly! They make us feel right at home. Highly recommend to everyone. Please try their bo la lot, specialty beef tools and wraps that no one else can make. They are the best and i have relatives who visit and always want to make a trip to Hai Yen!

An extensive menu of classic Vietnamese cuisine, especially many varieties of delicious pho (in huge bowls, so need to ask for extra noodles! , all inexpensive (our group of four had appetizers, entrees, and drinks for $100 . Prompt, friendly, and courteous service in a simple, diner-like ambiance.

Excellent food, fantastic value! I have dined here over 10 times and love their food and ambiance. Service can be a bit slow but it’s worth the wait. You can bring a bottle, they will charge you a $6 corkage fee. Love this place!
