Ever - Chicago

My mom took me to After and Ever last night for an early celebration of my 30th birthday. They were both incredible, and I strongly recommend either, and especially both together. The cocktails, the food, and the wine were all absolutely phenomenal, and each bite or sip was an experience unto itself. But what really set it over the top was the service. You might recognize the restaurant from S02E07 of The Bear, Forks. And our captain, Paulina, was actually in the episode. She was remarkable, and the entire service from beginning to end was flawless. They were so careful, attentive, and thoughtful. The whole time, I just felt delighted. I 'll definitely be recommending it to others, and going back in the future. And not just because they gave me one of the staff pins and a tour of the kitchen. Thank you, chefs! It was definitely a love story.

Outstanding this is what a dining experience should be. Service was a harmonious integration of attention, professionalism, and friendly personable conversation. Food was flavorful, innovative without being tacky, and just enough to satisfy. The ambience is modern but inviting, and the Matthew McConaughey narrated audiobook playing in the WC was a brilliant touch. Divine culinary experience. Wow. Worth every Michelin star. Favorite plates were the caviar, scallop, wagyu. Wine pairing phenomenal. Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate with proper advance notice. Parking: Probably easier to take transit or ride share. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
