Dai Yee's Asian Kitchen - Chicago

Dai Yee is the best Chinese takeout on northside of Chicago. Full stop. It’s pricier than most, but you get what you pay for: very high quality ingredients (including meat that is recognizable as meat, not gristle), large portions, and delicious flavor.

Our office placed a big order for a office holiday lunch, and every single one of us loved the food. There were so many dishes that I couldn't tell you exactly what we ordered, but everything was delicious. I would say the standout dishes were the buns and dumplings. You could tell these were homemade from the soft chewy dough, but still had a good bite. Another amazing dish that I've never tasted before was a noodle dish with a black bean sauce with a little spicy kick. Perfect flavors!

Ordered through Uber Eats and after 1 hour wait UE canceled order. Lisa is amazing! She went above and beyond when I reordered the next day to make everything right even though UE was responsible.Food was delicious and will make this a regular when in Chicago. Thank you!

Ordered delivery via UberEats and specifically marked Need Utensils, on the receipt it states Included Utensils but there is none. How is one supposed to eat, there was 3 soups and one Orange Chicken. Orange Chicken with your fingers, possible, soup not! Tried calling and they don’t pick up after 4pm per their voicemail.

I've been looking for a new go-to Chinese food place and I am so glad to have found Dai Yee! After trying multiple Chinese food places in the area, I have found the best one. The Chinese food here is absolutely delicious and fresh. I ordered the General Tso Chicken, the meat had a great texture and the sauce was tasty! BBQ fried rice was also fantastic. Strongly recommend!
